      Worship
Worship Services with Holy Communion are held each Saturday &
Sunday.
2007-2008
Lectionary
Worship
is central to life at Holy Trinity. Sunday
morning services follow the Revised Common Lectionary to provide the
worship emphasis for the day. The services are a mix of tradition and
innovation. Communion is
offered by kneeling around the table with individual elements passed by
ministers and assistants. Stations may be used at festival
services.
We are utilizing the new Evangelical
Lutheran Worship Book as the main resource for congregational song, psalms and
liturgies. We supplement this
resource with additional liturgies and songs. Cantor and
adult choirs provide choral leadership. Also included are
children’s choir and men and women's choruses. Pipe organ,
piano, synthesizer, handbells, percussion instruments, and
instrumentalists of all types add additional musical flavor.
Professional Child Care provided at both Sunday services, as well as our
Saturday night Worship service!
A church nursery silent paging system is available
which can alert the parent(s) of the need to return to the nursery during
services.
SATURDAY NIGHT WORSHIP
SERVICE
5:30 PM
This casual service (come as
you are) offers a
blend of new choruses,
current contemporary Christian music and familiar songs. Ed Pucko,
Saturday night worship leader is the composer of many of the songs and
most of the liturgy currently in use. Vocal leadership is provided
by the "Voices of Faith" Saturday music team.
Musical accompaniment is provided by piano, percussion, chimes and various
instrumentalists. Holy Communion is offered at all Saturday
services. Professional child care is also provided.
